In Africa, many communities face rising fuel costs, limited access to clean energy, and inefficient transportation. Businesses and households struggle with unreliable power and expensive mobility options, limiting productivity and economic growth.
Without sustainable energy and affordable electric vehicles, communities remain dependent on costly, polluting systems that harm both the environment and livelihoods. This energy gap slows progress, especially in rural areas where access to clean and reliable solutions is crucial.
Our Solution
At Ekoglobe, we are on a mission to bridge this gap by providing affordable electric mobility and solar energy solutions that drive positive change. Since our beginnings in 2020 as a partnership offering transportation services, capacity building, and solar rooftop installations, we’ve grown rapidly—becoming a limited liability company in 2022.
With operations in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, and Iringa, we equip energy-vulnerable communities with cutting-edge solutions that merge clean energy, sustainable transportation, and agriculture
Imagine a future where Africa thrives on sustainable and eco-friendly transportation and energy solutions, paving the way for a cleaner, greener, and more responsible continent. That’s the vision of EKOglobe, and we’re committed to making it a reality.
We’re committed to enabling a net-zero future for all, and our mission revolves around developing and promoting sustainable, eco-friendly transportation solutions and renewable energy practices to make a positive impact on the environment and society.
Headquartered in Dar es Salaam, our team has a combined experience of over 20 years. We have a diverse and innovative team with major focus on engineering, transportation, renewable energy and agriculture. This makes us a productive, creative and adaptive team fit for comprehensive solutions which are needed by our potential clientele.
We also host a number of interns who want to learn and contribute to the future of green energy and we are always on the lookout for fresh talent who are excited by our vision.
Since 2020, our partnerships and solutions have enabled us to provide energy services in rural Tanzania impacting the lives of more than 2000 people.
However, energy poverty is still at large in Tanzania. Over 70% of rural population still rely on unrefined biomass fuels for domestic use and fossil fuels for powering their livelihoods, while over 2 million two- and three-wheeled motorcycle-taxis in the country, are running on unreliable, polluting and inefficient fuel.
As we develop the solutions to ensure access to affordable, reliable, efficient, sustainable and modern energy across the country, we seek your partnership in this journey to deliver our services to every corner of the country.
Our current partners have seen significant benefits and impact while being an integral part of our social endeavor. You too can become one of them
If you want to be a part of a profitable business that equally contributes to social good, we want to hear from you!
